IOS Operating system; made by Apple. A mobile operating system that was originally developed for the iPhone and iPod touch, has since expanded to be used on other Apple devices such as the iPad and Apple TV. The operating system is powered by an iPhone. Apple smartphone was unveiled at the Macworld Conference and Exhibition on January 9, 2007, and was released in June of the same year for the first time.
